Free People’s Blogger Catalog

Julia from Free People Clothing sent me a sneak peek of their latest October catalogue and I was very excited to see they collaborated with some inspiring Fashion Bloggers.

This isn't a new concept, other labels/stores have used fashion bloggers to model for them before...but what I liked about how Free People have done it, is that the bloggers styled themselves, bringing their own uniqueness to the clothes. Even the photographers used on the shoots were the same as would be on their own blogs....so Rumi was photographed by her boyfriend and Natalie by her sister.

I saw the new issue of Another Magazine floating around forums and facebook and I was so so excited to see Björk gracing the cover. I love everything Björk! I was lucky enough to see her live at the Sydney Opera house last time she was in Australia, and I have to say I cried when she played HyperBallard. amazing!

Upon a fold = paper happiness

I have a confession to make, I am a complete stationary nerd. I went in search of pretty Japanese Tapes and discovered this sweet online shop Upon A Fold.

Upon a fold is based in Sydney and run by Justine who has been collecting and making things from paper for as long as she can remember. She also works as a graphic designer and is working on her own creations to sell instore soon.

I think my Christmas wish list just got a few more items!

Love the latest collection and the styling of the lookbook for Sydney label Mrs Press, so dreamy and romantic, just my thing!

Clare Press the designer behind Mrs Press used to be the features editor for Vogue Magazine. She now runs her boutique label Mrs. Press, which creates vintage-inspired garments in limited editions. (less then 50 of each). As well as a Dressing Table collection of luxury creams, soaps and scented candles.

The garments are 100% Australian made featuring all natural fabrics as well as vintage detailing - such as the bow detailing in the Kate dress.

I particularly love the Kate dress (pictured above) it also can be seen in the editorial pages of the latest Frankie Mag!

Teacup Succulents

Ahh how amazing is this teacup succulent garden by Epheriell Designs?! I LOVE succulents and sadly I had to leave so many from my collection behind in Melbourne. I put them out on the nature strip and some lovely person came and took them away. I hope they went to a good home.

Anyways I am feeling the need to get some more, so I think this will be one of the things I do on the weekend (along with my growing list of other jobs).

Opshopping adventures and project setup house

Some of my opshop finds from the past few weeks. I spent yesterday setting up my dinning room. The table and chairs as well as the little set of 3 side tables are from an opshop in Sailsbury (thanks Popsikill for the tipoff).

Candy pink outdoor chairs and a retro coffee table - also from the same opshop. Seriously I bought half the shop (ok maybe not quite) but I did get alot...I was in opshop heaven!!
