Element Eden x Daydream Lily goes to EUROPE!!

Wow I have been meaning to write this for a few days but didn't know where to start and I still can't really believe it is true. But the Element Eden team over in Europe loved the 'Inspired By Daydream Lily' collection so much they have decided to launch it over there too! So the collection will be in stores right across Europe, crazy!

I've never even been to Europe but if feels like a part of me is already there. I wish I could see the clothes in the shops...if anyone sees them do snap a picture for me!

The Element Eden Europe team even made this website up for the collection so you can see the styles and read about it... elementeden.eu/daydreamlily Isn't it adorable? Looks like a mini blog.

I have a giveaway coming up tomorrow to celebrate the Element Eden x Daydream Lily collection going to Europe!! So do stop back for that.

The Village Markets

Vintage hunters bagged a bargain on Sunday at The Village Markets bearing the wind and rain for a new addition to their wardrobe. Kicked off by co-managers Melissa Bowden and Sarah Schoeller in 2008, The Village Markets have quickly become a top monthly event for Gold Coast’s designers, artists and vintage fashionistas.

The markets are run on the first Sunday of every month from 8am to 1pm at Burleigh State School. You can expect to find up to sixty quirky stalls packed with vintage and handmade clothes, accessories, shoes, bags and cute little trinkets. Some of the stalls who set up shop where Bird & Rose, Box Vintage, Hello Friend, The Best Little Vintage Van in Vegas, LoKoa Line, Sisterhood Sewing, Two Tress, Peaches & Cream Couture and Red Vintage to name a few. Those who got in early braving the rain cleared out some of the best items including a gorgeous sleeveless shirt with zebra embellishments, lucky you! If only we had seen it first! The stand out store was The Best Little Vintage Van in Vegas. Towards the end of the line of stalls stood a bright pink 1950’s caravan towed by a baby pink 1965/66 HR Holden. The Best Little Vintage Van in Vegas truly encompasses the feel of the markets with fake grass and rainbow coloured umbrellas included.

So ladies, The Village Markets is a definite must to find that one off item you have to have, but you have to get in early! Remember to visit the ATM before you go otherwise someone might just buy the cute little top you had your eye on while you struggle to find the cash! On another note actually remember to take your purse unlike me who left mine at home and couldn’t buy anything!

WHERE & WHERE
The Village Markets are on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month
At Burliegh Heads State School
xx
Thanks to Clachere (a journalism student at Griffith University) for the guest post & photos!

Finders Keepers & Weekend Links

It's taken me a week to come down from my amazing birthday weekend in Melbourne at Finders Keepers! I was so busy shopping I didn't take too many photos, but you can check out some great pictures from the markets at Dawn's blog here & here.

I did get pictures though of my favourite stall MeowGirl. How could I resist porcelain bunnies, squirrels, owls and deers made into the cutest jewellery ever! I got the muma bunny and squirrel. They are also available for sale online at www.meowgirl.com.au.

Also some Weekend Link Love (these are a round up of links I've shared on twitter over the week)
Happy Weekend!
