{{CLOSED}} Win a Superheadz Ultra Wide and Slim Camera thanks to PhotoMoti

All photos taken with my Superheadz ultra wide and slim.

New Australian online camera store PhotoMoti (Think PhotoJojo but Aussie!!) is kindly offering a Superheadz Ultra Wide and Slim for one lucky reader to win.

The Ultra Wide and Slim Camera is a film camera based on Vivitar's old wide angle point and shoot. I have the light blue one and absolutely LOVE mine. I've been using it a lot over the past months as it's so simple to use and nice and light, perfect for taking on road trips and adventures. Also love the 22mm wide angle lens, you can fit so much in the frame !

Thanks PhotoMoti for the giveaway!

PS. That's my sister's new puppy Olive in the photos...isn't she the cutest?!!

UPDATE: Wow thank you so much for all the entries, I think this is a new giveaway record! The winner is comment #247 - Sarah.

How to remove your website images from google image search

UPDATE :: I've recieved a few comments that this method no longer works. I'll be doing some research into another way to achieve this.

I really wanted to share this with everyone because I've talked to a few artists and photographers who don't like their images being in google image search. I blog a lot of artists and photographers work and I don't want my blog putting their work there either.

So I went searching on how I could remove all the images on my blog from showing in google image search and found you only need to add one line of code to your template. All you need to do is add a meta tag with name = "robots" and content = "noimageindex". You can also get more specific and just choose selected blog posts you don't want indexed, but I just went for the remove all option. You go into the code view of your blog on the dashboad and click "Design" then "Edit HTML" and add in the meta tag under the head section.

More instructions here....
If you have wordpress you can edit the robot.txt instructions here...

Element Eden x Daydream Lily :: Handmade with love!

Isn't this adorable?! They were made by the Element Eden Europe team to launch the Daydream Lily collection over there. It's a little strange to know that this launch has happened over the other side of the world and these cute little cross stitches with my heart logo were given out!

New LC-Wide from Lomography

Last night I followed the buzz on twitter as Lomography unveiled a new product, the LC-Wide. The LC-Wide is similar to the LC-A but with two main new features the ultra-wide-angle 17 mm Minigon glass lens and the ability to shoot square and half frame. I'm more interested in the wide angle lens, I don't use half frame on my Diana Mini so not likely to use it on this camera but wide angle I love!!

What do you think of this new camera from Lomography?

WITCHERY White Shirt Collection for Ovarian Cancer

This Thursday is White Shirt Day! An initiative started by Witchery in collaboration with the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) to raise awareness and much needed funds for Ovarian Cancer research. Each year Witchery create a limited edition white shirt collection with 100% of proceeds to go directly to OCRF. So far over $2 Million has been raised!

As part of the day I was super excited to be sent a shirt from the collection to style and wear with a touch of silver - the colour synonymous with OCRF. The only chance I had to take photos was late in the day on sunday and hence the fairly harsh afternoon sun. I don't think I will take photos this time of day again! but I hope you like the cute outfit I put together.

OUTFIT
Top - Witchery White Shirt Collection - bow neck
Skirt - Gillian Tennant tucked skirt in peach from my shop!
Heart Leggings from Sportsgirl
Crochet flats from ALDO , silver bangles

You can read more about the white shirt campaign and how you can get involved here.

WALLPAPER DREAMING

This is a guest post by Boglarka Toth. Boglarka recently opened her design studio in Budapest, Hungary and runs the lovely blog Pink Flower Love

Finding the perfect wallpaper is something like finding the perfect blush for finishing your make-up. It can ruin the whole picture or it can perfectly complete the look, emphasizing exactly what supposed to be in focus and hiding what you shouldn't see.

Of course concerning decorating the walls, only our fantasy can limit us, since there are millions of ideas and things you can do with the walls. These decorations can be either useful or just simply decorative. But for sure they will have an impact on the interior and the atmosphere in general.

It is also an important issue to choose a wall decoration that is matching with the other furniture, colors, mood within the interior. It could have a strong effect if for example, the wallpaper and the upholstery of the sofa or armchairs are matching - either by the color or by the pattern, or even both. Can be very tricky as well, since if the tone of the colors or the style of the motives are not good together, the look is basically ruined.

As a final suggestion I encourage you to follow your basic instincts and heart; don't be shy or afraid to make unusual or even crazy choices in the process of decorating your walls. At the end it is for You, so You have to be happy with it! XX

Daydream Lily included in Foals Australian Tour celebration mag!

To celebrating the amazing Foals recent Australian tour, to which I was a bit of a crazy fan and went to both the Byron Bay show AND the Melbourne show. Pagesdigital and Warner Music put together a special digital mini mag featuring Foals own holiday snaps and the winners from the ‘Inject Some Foals Into Your Life’ competition.

And I'm included in the mini mag! This post I did the day after seeing Foals in Byron Bay was included. The photography is by the amazing Adele Mary Reed who was so lovely to let me use her photograph to enter the competition. (Thank you Adele)

And Foals themselves helped curate the mag. eeekk!! I'm secretly hoping that they might have had the tiniest look at my blog. But maybe I'm dreaming.

Check out the Foals Australian Tour Celebration mag HERE.
