A few weeks back I got an email asking to be part of a feature on bloggers in the area for Gold Coast Magazine. In a way it was like 'now I'm finally a Queenslander! I'm a local'. It was such an honour to be asked to represent QLD bloggers alongside Oracle Fox, Girl With a Satchel, Unknown Pleasures and In Spaces Between. I love living up here and I do think I will be here for a few more years yet, although I do have times where I get really home sick for Melbourne. I think right now I consider both QLD and Melbourne my home.
It was such a fun day, Kirra & Amy from Gold Coast mag are so lovely, and Bree did my hair and makeup. I must admit I was a wee but excited about having my hair and makeup done. I don't have much time these days to do makeup so it was really fun to learn from Bree and see her work her magic! I must learn to do my makeup like this!

I also brought a few things from around my house to decorate with, cameras, the storybook rabbit plates and my special little black deer my Nan recently gave me.
